A call for assistance for one of our own. He wears the uniform of a sworn law enforcement officer and this young man needs back up.President Joe Luistro was his training officer. I had the privilege of meeting this officer. As an old timer I found he is a down to earth guy , with a good sense of humor and  easily knew him to be…One good cop. This young officer and his wife are expecting twins. Officer L. Cimmino mentioned tickets are only 20.00 each. I just put a 20.00 check in an envelope for this  one good cop who needs some back up. Please think about attending the event, send in a check or go on to the go fund me page………. you will be glad you did.

The Edison PBA #75 will be hosting a “tricky tray” fundraiser breakfast on Saturday, March 25th 2017 from
8am – 10am at Applebee’s Restaurant (1045 US Highway 1, Edison NJ, 08837).

All proceeds from this event will benefit our Brother Joseph Wenskoski who was diagnosed with an inoperable
brain tumor known as Glioblastoma Multiforme. Brother Wenskoski started his career in 2006 at the NJIT
Police Department, and then moved on to the Metuchen Police Department, before transferring to Edison in
2014. Joe’s father is also a former Edison Police Detective and his Brother is a Sergeant with Highland Park
PD. Joe’s wife Tracy works for the Township of Cranford and they are anxiously expecting twins later this year.
Brother Wenskoski has been out of work for an extended period of time and all donations will greatly help his
family with expenses.
